DescriptionThe Technology Transfer Center CENTI Cluj-Napoca was set up in 2004 as a department of the Romanian National Institute of R&D for Optoelectronics. The main services offered by CENTI to its clients refer to: -identification of industrial market requirements and potential investors for existing technologies, products and services; -support for Romanian SMEs in identifying foreign business partners; -partner search for establishing research consortia between universities, research institutes and SMEs, with expansion at local, regional and European level; -support for development of project proposals under European funding programs; -services for boosting innovation, advanced technology and technology transfer; -support for organization and participation of SMEs in European company missions and brokerage events; -technical assistance in order to achieve technological transfer of R & D results; -support for the exploitation of intellectual property rights; -active dissemination of information on business and technology services available in Romania and EU.
